Domain Names Explained
Domain names are made up from numbers called IP addresses.
An IP address looks like this, e.g, 75.98.168.50 and belongs to the domain name DynoNames.com. Domain Names are used to access website pages called URLs such as http://www.dynonames.com/low-cost-domains.htm with low-cost-domains.htm as the URL and the domain name would be dynonames.com.
Domain names use different extensions called a suffix the most popular is the top level domain (TLD) there is also country code top level domain (ccTLD) they represent a country.

The internet does not use Domain names to access the internet or Domain names. The internet uses IP addresses to access a domain name instead.
